Nature walks
Nature walks and short treks along the river Kosi or Ramganga.
Angling
We exercise the "catch and release system". Though boasting an abundance
of fish species, it is for the mighty "Mahseer", a large fighting
fish that India is best known for, in the fishing world.
Mahseer fishing tours are conducted on the Ramganga river in the periphery
of Corbett National Park and higher reaches of the river. Fly-fishing and
spinning the rivers offers great pleasure to the sportsman, who is called
upon to pit his skill to outwit the mighty Mahseer.
Angling here is subject to permissions available from the forest department
on advance notice.
Anglers will have to bring their own equipment. Local fishing guides, who
are highly experienced are deputed with anglers. We provide transportation,
camp equipment, packed or fresh meals and fishing gillees. One can use a few
good pools in river Ramganga for Mahseer fishing. One can take morning and
afternoon walks by the river for angling. The anglers are required to carry
their own fishing gear.
